Food Act 1983


The documentation approved by the DYMM SPB Yang Dipertuan Agong with the advice and consent of the Dewan Negara & Dewan Rakyat. This act gives the Ministry of Health the authority to ;
·        Inspect any food premise
·        Take samples
·        Do the analysis to check the status of cleanliness and safety of a food.


This act consist of 5 parts ;
·        PRELIMINARY
·        ADMINISTRATION & ENFORCEMENT
·        OFFENCES & EVIDENCE
·        IMPORTATION, WARRANTY & DEFENSES
·        MISCELLANEOUS
