Sharapova Wins in Brisbane

 

Maria Sharapova won her 1^st match on her return from injury at the Brisbane International. In 1^st round, she defeated Carolina Garcia of France 6-3 6-0 in 64 minutes. There was only break in the 1^st set in the second game in Maria’s 1^st WTA match since August. Maria secure the set 6-3 in 40 minutes. 2^nd set, Maria took only 24 minutes as Maria wrapped up victory over 20-year-old for her 1^st WTA win since July. (mariasharapova.com)
